The Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Federation of New Zealand
CBAFF is a national federation, whose main concern is to promote the interests of its members. It assists member companies and individuals working professionally and participating in customs broking and freight forwarding, and is affiliated with the wider transport industry.
CBAFF is organised independently of Government by a management executive and initiates discussions with relevant bodies, seeking to develop an environment favourable to our members.
Applications are now open for the Young Achiever Award 2011
THE PRIZE
- A trip to Singapore to meet agents and view an airport and seaport in operation.
- Complimentary attendance at the Annual CBAFF Conference following the announcement of the Award. The winner will be asked to present a summary of their report and findings from the trip to Singapore.
- Automatic nomination for the FIATA Young International Freight Forwarder of the Year Award.
- 'Young Achiever Award' Plaque and more.
To qualify for the award the applicant must:
- Have been working in the industry.
- Not have attained their 29th birthday by 30 October 2011.
- Currently be employed by a company which is a "Business" member of CBAFF.
- Be a Citizen or Permanent Resident of New Zealand.
- Submit an application form by 16 September 2011 and 2000 word report by 7 October 2011 based on the following question:
